The Plastic Straw Ban Helps The Environment But Hurts The Disabled Community

People living with disabilities are raising concerns as the movement to ban plastic straws gains momentum.
Recently, Starbucks announced it would be joining the collection of other restaurants and establishments that have pledged to phase out the use of plastics straws. Come 2020 more than 28,000 of its stores world-wide will no longer offer plastic straws, in an effort to be more environmentally friendly.
